Freaking sweet. Seriously. Working on signing contracts and all that right now, but seriously, its a steal. Only 400 a month plus utilities. Its got like hardwood floors, oak structural elements, exposed brick walls, a "silence of the lambs" esque basement (dirt floors, stone walls, exposed piping, etc), huge bedrooms each equipped with fireplaces (even though they don't work), and the outside is all like maroon and green and colorful and fun. The hallways and kitchen are huge and are perfectly made for parties and stuff. Only bad thing is that its not really made well for shows or anything like that. Not sure if i'd want to do that what with the cops cracking down on house shows lately. And a 500 dollar noise ordinance violation is a bit steep for me.
I just love architecture.

haha strangely, its 450 dollars less to rent this place a month that it is to live in dorms here. Plus I don't have to put up with stupid rules and checking people in and stuff like that. I just need to get this stupid real estate agent to get me a copy of the contract... grrrrrr...

That's a really nice looking house. I like the moulding and trim work. Looks like an old craftsman style house. Hardwood floors are sweet too. How about details? How big? # of bedrooms/bathrooms?

its got four bedrooms, all of the bedrooms are about 300 square feet (huge). there are two full bathrooms (with showers/ bathtubs) and one half bath (with just toilet and sink). The kitchen is gigantic (at least 400 feet). The only problem is, there is no real living space. The front hall way/ entrance area is pretty big, but doesn't have anywhere to put our tv. we may just get stuck doing it there anyway, and moving the main entry way to the side door. I just found out that a bunch of my other architecture friends are moving in across the street from this, so we'll just have huge block parties. be freaking sweet.
