its probably pointless posting a band where only a few people on this messageboard know anything about. Well anyways, this is cd isnt new but i recently picked it up a few days ago. I didnt really get to listen to it much when i bought it but now it hasnt even left my cd player. Deathwish is well known for bringing you more out of the ordinary darker hardcore with bands like (modern life is war, integrity, sex positions, some girls, embrace today, etc.), well blacklisted is among these amazing bands and have been for awhile. It took me forever even after going to their show to actually pick this cd up. I have never heard anything like it, they take a heavier faster more aggressive step into the traditional hardcore element. Breaking out with fast melodic riffs and crazy breakdowns from the likes of breather resist. Still keeping the message of the old school hardcore area. Singing about unity, pride, losses with a different pull on the issues. This band has to be one of the best bands i have heard. well next to gorilla biscuits no one can top them. Check it out and pick it up from ear x tacy or order it from barnes and noble for only 9.99. Come on ten amazing songs for 10 bucks.

Ok say you have an ipod. You could buy the cd then burn it onto your ipod. This way you support the band and you can enjoy blacklisted in your car and listen to it on the go with your ipod. We wonder why bands are so poor, first off no one wants to buy cds anymore, they would rather support mp3 companies that dont give a shit what hardcore is about. These bands are on the road with maybe 50 bucks to get from town to town, but as long as we have the music we dont give a shit if we support them or not. Support hardcore no downloading companies that support bush.

Go listen to some of your completely original and artistically stimualting music and leave poor dakota alone. For the record though, Blacklisted are very good.

how are you going to tell me i haven't heard a band... i have heard this band, as i was at school and went to their website... i've been on the internet for 3 hours... fuck yeah for being excused to work on scholarship essays.
for the record, blacklisted sucks, as does most of the shit you listen to.
p.s. don't knock all screamo until you've heard it. oh and while you're at it, your kodan armada shirt is dirty.

Come on cameron, have you really listened to Blacklisted? I doubt it. You probably heard five seconds of this band and decided you hated them.
As far as screamo goes, i have heard a whole lot of it. As a matter of fact heres a list of bands i have heard in depth and more than once
funeral diner ampere mara kate the phoenix bodies the dream is dead pg. 99 orchid the blood brothers towers d'amore the plot to blow up the eiffel tower kodan armada bucket full of teeth combat wounded veteran lickgoldensky hugs etc...
Im not saying all of these bands suck by any means but none of them are as innovative and amazing as you make them out to be. As a matter of fact, screamo is often quite repetitive so get off your fucking high horse already.

haha, i don't mean to do this, but plot isn't screamo, neither is blood brothers, bucket full of teeth is metal, but has members of screamo bands, same for the dream is dead.

True, but they are typically associated with screamo bands. If you had to lump them into one big furnace, that is where you would throw them, in the screamo furnace, which I would happily ignite.

the bands get money from itunes, it works the same way as getting the cd dakota. bands like blacklisted are poor.. because they suck. Actually no bands sell part of the rights to itunes and mostly give permission, they get a measly bit of money at the start. The label gets most of the money. Labels dont pay bands, when they put out a record the label usually had the band pay for something (for example: recording, pressings, equipment, etc.) the band is then given a reasonable amount of merch and records(cd, vinyl, shirts, buttons, etc.) to make up for the money they spent. Most bands also cant get regular steady jobs due to touring and promotion. So they get a percentage of the sales on records and merch added to the things they sell on tour. So buying the cd off of itunes you are not supporting the band. Now if you buy the cd at a record, book, etc store you are, because the band get a good % from the sales from the label or distributor. I say again fuck mp3s

Who cares, you all buy used cds, and those dont support bands. If you want to support a band go see them, spread the word about them and buy merch.
