Would it not be your favorite transition, too?
By the way...this isn't some kind of malicious joke and I'm not trying to ridicule anyone so for the love of God don't delete it. I know you all love doing that.

Dennis, most people on here probably don't even know what "WP" is.

i had a feeling that it meant 'white power' but i didn't want to make an ass out of myself. but i'm sure if dylan or keith does it, or claim that they support it, he'll jump on the bandwagon.
shazam.

I'm picturing Dakota with a shaved head, white tee. red braces, and rolled up jeans to flash the work boots. I think I'm in favor of a swastika tattoo as well...especially if it's like the one Ed Norton had in American History X.

Hahaha. Yeah it does.
Me and Keith were talking not long ago about all the rednecks that love this movie because they think it's like a pro-racist movie or something.
Shit, the conversation was hilarious I swear.

i bet that's true though. they're probably like, 'yeah man, he fuckin steps on the dudes head, show them niggers' when really in all reality it's an anti racist movie. this movie is sometimes hard for me to watch though. specific scenes (the really violent ones, the rape scene)

Yeah this is true. I have a pretty strong stomach when it comes to graphic depictions of gore and mutilation and whatnot, but that's not that impressive since most of those zombie/slasher type movies are so campy and low-budget that the grauitous (sp?) violence is funny.
I had a hard time watching the "curb-stomping" scene, because (while I've never actually witnessed one of these first-hand) it seemed like so graphically realistic that I felt a little sick. Plus you can hear the black guy's teeth scraping on the asphalt when he does it.
Another part I have a hard time stomaching is when they raid the convenience store and start dumping things on the clerks. It's not the violence at all, it's just the horrible things that they say.
I mean it's easy to take a guy with a chainsaw for a hand mutiliating a legion of undeads at face value. It's entertainment.
but when you see a bunch of white-power goons raiding a vietnamese-owned convenience store, just because the workers are not the same race as them....it sickens me because it makes me wonder how accurate the depiction is, because these things really do happen.
A lot of the hitlerian rhetoric bothers me too because a lot of it (how must dictators operate) is one core truth wrapped in a series of half-truths, and that's what gets people to believe it, even when most others can see that it is absolutely outlandish.
Damn. Let's have more discussions on movies.
I really like this movie because it makes me think about my position on a lot of things.....

in related, though unconnected, news, I am currently shaving my head. Huge costume ball tomorrow night, after working for hours and hours on my project.. I'm going as a buddhist monk, so for the first time in my life, my hair will be gone.

I'd like to be an ass for a second and point out the connection between racists and straightedge kids (sorry lol). Biting the curb and the "Kill your local drug dealer" shit. Both groups are way too interested in blunt objects, home made weapons, assault rifles, and the military. Plus the use of symbols is just...ridiculous. I'd go on but I know where that will get me.
That extremist Dylan Chadwick will make me bite the curb lol.
Dylan: Remember back in middle school when American History X was the personal favorite of every pseudo-racist? Everyone was always so stoked about seeing Ed Norton stomp that guy's head in to the curb. Jacob Bottoms, Alex Rains, Aaron Smith, and Ronnie Bruce were way too excited about that shit. I remember seeing Jacob stand and salute the screen...ewww...
My favorite scene in that movie is where they raid the grocery store because it was bought by asians and all the white workers were fired. They totally raped the old woman as she cried and screamed. Shit was insane.
Though for the record nothing really turns my stomach, except for smells. I'm cool with almost any kind of violence, though I was quite saddened by what was mentioned above.
Anyone see that movie about the FBI's investigation of the murder of a white civil rights worker from Detroit in Alabama? It had the dude that joined the Klan as an undercover FBI informant...and the weird guy that played the Green Goblin in Spiderman was in it...well anyway, that movie is wonderful.
I need to see Romper Stomper.
